Meet The Designer

For more than three decades, Tina M.E. Smith has been at the forefront of transforming environments that bring people together and stand the test of time. From hospitals and schools to churches, community centers, and corporate spaces, her work reflects a deep understanding of how design can connect communities, inspire creativity, and elevate everyday experiences.

As President and Principal Designer of Martee Interior Designs, Tina leads a full-service interior design firm known for its innovative approach, attention to detail, and commitment to sustainable, functional spaces. Her vision blends artistry and practicality, creating environments that are not only beautiful but purpose-driven and adaptable for generations to come.

Tina holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from National Louis University and an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Technology from Olive Harvey College. She also earned a Certification in Construction Management through Turner Construction, the University of Illinois at Chicago and the City of Chicago.

When she’s not designing, Tina enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, traveling, and relaxing on the golf course.
